Christopher Roch

I am a 1989 graduate of the Camberwell College of Art. In 1994 I graduated with an MA in Printed Textiles from the Royal College of Art. Coupled with my arts training and interest in fashion,  I have travelled and worked for international brands including Ungaro, L Brands, Guess Inc and Express Inc.

I have created artwork and installations for Absolut Elyx, Ann Inc and Williams-Sonoma Inc (Pottery Barn & West Elm) and feature in private collections.

Tulip & Roch, is a platform to showcase my illustrations, paintings and floral design work.

On these pages, you’ll find playful pen, ink and watercolour work from my sketchbooks. Other pages illustrate more detailed artworks, ones that I have painted on larger canvases using acrylics, oils and gauche. All of these artworks illustrate a common theme, distinctive colour and spirited, light hearted lines that capture life around me.

My art is made from a world of pen and ink, watercolour and acrylic, where flowers and hounds, birds and insects all find a place amongst my very whimsical interpretation of the world. I find inspiration in small botanicals and save memories of friends and travel in many sketchbooks.
