Nature’s wide variety of colour is captured in my avian illustrations. Birds are a favourite of mine – I create these for paper, fabrics and homeware products. Combining character with colour, my bird illustrations try to capture the essence of these feathery fascinators.

These jungle animal illustrations were created for Williams Sonoma Home to be used on a variety of homeware.

Inspired from hand painted delicate Kowhai flowers, foliage and dragonflies of New Zealand.
Printed on organic cotton in shades of pink to create a beautiful and delicate print.
Perfect to dream in.

A series of illustrations created for Wallace Cotton featuring edibles and garden plants for their Spring 2022 kitchen linens collections.

The Wallace Cotton canine Christmas Collection for Summer 22/23 features a friendly dog and bone motif for tableware and linens.

Kowhai Garden takes inspiration from the delicacy of New Zealand’s unique flora and fauna and is based on the designs of French archival toiles. Petals and ferns are abundant amongst dragonflies and rendered in inky blue on crisp white cotton.

Taking inspiration from nature, Bonaire is a series of artworks for Wallace Cotton bedding featuring seashells and coral in inky blues and creams.

A series of illustrations for William Sonoma’s Christmas homewares; advent calendars, crockery and linens.

“Belinda Bluebell Ball” she lives in stripes and loves the colour blue. She has a tiny waist, perfect for all occasions. Belinda loves her garden, especially when it’s covered in shades of blue and bluebells 🌿💙 Her skirts are made of vintage air balloons, she loves it when the winds are so strong, that she can fly across the fields and forests. She lives for the annual summer ball 🙌⭐️💙

“Cornelia Camellia Rose” her garden is a place of beauty, full of flowers and creatures of nature. Cornelia’s skirts are made of giant flower petals, hand-sewn very carefully 🙌 she sips pink champagne from tiny Chrystal coupe glasses, and loves candy floss.
We love you Cornelia 🌷❤️

“Agatha Green Stone” is a tiny lady who lives in her secret garden hidden from the human eye. She loves to drink green tea with honey, and eats lots of lettuce leaves and cucumber sandwiches, they are so tiny she can eat an entire plate full. All her clothes are hand sewn from garden plants💚
This little creation took place while the rain lashed down on the garden, I almost thought I was going to be hit by lightning, but alas only Steve our wonderful cat running out of the garden as he was really wet ⛈⛈
Enjoy

This little painting reminded me of a carnival of garden fiesta and colour. The rain started then it stopped and started again🌧🌈🌧 Follow me on my painted garden journey as I discover and create new paintings that reflect the ever changing garden in Glen Eden, Auckland.

Rain🌧💦⛈ Creating this little painting was a strange mix of fast little brushes strokes as the rain was lashing down into the garden. A rainbow came out but I decided to take tiny flecks of colour and add them to the painting, creating a blurred but exciting garden rainy day painting.
Some of the colours started to blend into the sky and the tall tree.
Follow me on my journey as I explore and paint my magical garden in Auckland, New Zealand🌿🌧🌳🌴🌈

Beautiful kauri trees that are still quite young in the garden, stand tall and thin like giants guarding the land. The sky had turned a beautiful shade of pink and mauve. Wonderful foliage surround the towering trees. Follow me on my journey as I explore and paint my garden in Glen Eden, Auckland. Wonderful shades of greens and teal and earth tones get layered into this watercolour.

Late afternoon painting, capturing a huge tree turning golden in the Autumn weather. Lashings of greens still surround the garden, but the air is cool, the sky is a shade of mauve and pale blue.
Everyday the garden is changing with the weather, Autumn into winter.

The garden has a wet misty feel to it, colours blend and merge like a fairground spinning. Softer shades in the background mixed with a soft grey blue sky.

Painted garden series, Glen Eden, Auckland. A night time painting of washed greens and inky blues create the mood of twilight. Colours merge and blend to create a moody palette in the painted garden.

Painted garden series #26 Glen Eden, Auckland.🎨A late afternoon painting while all the colour’s of the garden are changing. Dab dab goes the paint, creating a colour block effect. Greens merge with teal and limes, orange and burnt amber shades are settled together between deep greens and inky blue, while a pale blue and lavender sky sit above the ever changing garden. DM me for Art prices please, thx💫🌱🎨
